Frank R. Fuller

Division Manager, Ballistic Missile Defense

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Frank Fuller enlisted in the United States Navy in 1982. He served in a number of billets throughout his 24 years of service, including 11 with the Submarine Service as a SONAR Technician and 13 as a Surface Warfare Officer. He was the Main Propulsion Assistant on the USS DULUTH LPD-6, Fire Control Officer aboard USS NORMANDY CG-60 and Combat Systems Officer on the USS PORTER DDG-78.

During a shore tour Frank was an instructor at the Trident Training Facility (TTF). While there he earned his Associates Degree and was selected for the Enlisted Commissioning Program. He attended the University of Washington and was commissioned in 1993. In his next shore tour as an officer, Frank was assigned to COMOPTEVFOR as the Tactical Tomahawk Operational Test Director. In his last shore duty he reported to FLEET FORCES COMMAND N8 as the Combat Systems Action Officer where he managed CG/DDG Modernization, Aegis, SM-2, Aegis BMD, SM-3, and Harpoon.

After retiring from the Navy, Frank joined the team at AVW Technologies to work in the DDG 1000 and CVN21 programs. Thanks to his skills and experience, he generated a new line of business for AVW in the Aegis BMD sector. Today Frank, who has a total of nine years acquisition experience all in Combat Systems, manages the testing, development, evaluation and reporting of Aegis BMD's contribution to the Ballistic Missile Defense System.
