QUALITY CONTROL PROCESS AT AVW TECHNOLOGIES, INC .
Adherence to Process and Understanding the Customer's Needs
AVW Technologies' approach to quality control reflects a long-standing management philosophy of focusing on giving the customer the best value for our services.
We review and edit each contract deliverable to ensure products are complete, accurate, and responsive to the customer's needs. It is our corporate policy that every deliverable, regardless of the media, is placed into a structured reviewing process that ensures accuracy and relevancy of information. The emphasis is on concise, clearly defined fact and opinion presented in straightforward and meaningful terms. We also have a streamlined process for document review in circumstances where our customer has greater urgency and emergent need for a deliverable without sacrificing quality of the service.
The quality control process recognizes the value of thorough and knowledgeable review. The initial version of any document product goes through two separate peer reviews regardless of the subject matter topic. After the first review, changes and recommendations to the rough draft are returned to the document originator. The originator routes a “smooth” rough draft for a second review by a set of key staff members responsible for ensuring the document complies with the task order and the customer's specific needs and guidelines. The originator makes any additional changes resulting from the “smooth” rough draft review and prepares the deliverable and any accompanying correspondence for Principal's final release.
Rigid adherence to customer-mandated format and style for all deliverables (including document and graphic presentation) is practiced in our quality control process. Our method has proven effective with an impressive record of accomplishment of delivering well-prepared and acceptable reports and presentation across numerous programs.
Review of customer satisfaction through use of questionnaires and periodic meetings with principle customers aids in identifying areas of needed improvement, if any, confirming the value of our process.
